The competent authority within the meaning of the laws on data protection is Montredo GmbH, Friedrichstrasse 122/123, 10117 Berlin, Germany, email@example.com, referred to below as ‘Montredo’.
You can reach our data protection officer at +49 30 28886470 or under our postal address with the addition “Data-Protection Supervisor”.
What is personal data?
‘Personal data’ means information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person, which means all information by means of which you are identifiable. This includes, for instance, information like your first name and surname, your address and email address, your telephone number or your birthday. Information of a general nature, such as, for example, ‘age between 18 and 30 years’, by means of which your identity cannot be established is not included.
What data do we collect?
We collect your personal data when you make use of things which are offered to you personally on our websites, such as, for example, the newsletter, promotional games, or surveys which require registration using your name and email address. We also collect your personal data when you register with us in order to create a profile and sell or buy watches via our websites. This includes: first name and surname, address, town / country, email address, telephone number and password.
Security of your data
To ensure the safe transfer of data to your system we employ SSL-/TLS-encryption, you will recognise this by the address of our website starting with https://. This way we can make sure that the connection between you and us is secure and no personal data may leak to unauthorised entities.
What about IP addresses and cookies?
When you visit our websites your IP address (the identifier assigned to your PC by your Internet provider) and further information may possibly be saved on our server for technical reasons. The evaluation of such data for statistical and/or market research purposes will only be carried out in an anonymised form or using pseudonyms.
This data is stored for five years and then automatically deleted.
We use the data provided by you for the purpose of fulfilling and processing the order. We save the text of the contract and send you the order information by email. Your order information is no longer accessible on the Internet for security reasons. Your data is saved until you request to delete your user account. If you do not have or create a customer account with us, we will retain your personal data until the expiry of the regular statutory limitation period in order to be able to enforce any legal claims. The legal basis of the processing is the execution of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b DS-GVO or our legitimate interest in enforcing any legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Legal obligations to store you data are fulfilled independently of this.
When you register to receive the newsletter, your email address is used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to register for our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send you an email to the email address you provided in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within [24 hours], your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses used and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.
The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
You can revoke your consent and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To do so, simply use the link at the end of each newsletter or contact us using the contact details above.
We use the provider Mailchimp to send automated notifications about the progress of your order and our newsletter. Mailchimp is a service of The Rocket Science Group, LLC 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA.
Your name, email address, order number and the content of your order are transmitted. In addition, our newsletter is technically managed by Mailchimp, therefore the provider also learns whether you have subscribed to it. Mailchimp acts as a processor for us in the sense of Art. 28 DS-GVO, we have therefore signed an order processing agreement, which you can access under this link: Mailchimp Data Processing Addendum. In this contract, we have also agreed to use the EU standard data protection clauses.
If you contact us via a contact form, we will process your e-mail address and, if applicable, other personal data that you voluntarily provide to us in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is then your consent, which you can revoke at any time. We will only use your data to process your enquiry and will delete it once we have completely answered it.
On some sub-pages of this website, it is possible to leave comments. If you make use of this option, we will use your personal data, in particular your e-mail address, to trace the comment in the event of an infringement. The name you provide will also be published next to your comment. The legal basis for the processing is your consent, which you can revoke at any time.
What about web analytics, in particular Google Analytics?
We use Google Analytics and Google Remarketing on our websites. These are services from Google Inc. (‘Google’). Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of theses websites for the purposes of evaluating your use of the websites, compiling reports on website activity and providing the website operator with other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. If necessary, Google will also transmit this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Third party service providers, including Google, place advertisements on websites on the Internet. Third party service providers, including Google, use stored cookies in order to place advertisements on the basis of a user’s previous visits to these websites.
The IP address transmitted from your browser for the purposes of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies using appropriate settings on your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in those circumstances in some cases you will not be able to use all of the functions of our websites to the full extent. In addition, you can prevent the data related to your use of our websites which is generated by the cookie (including your IP-address) from being captured and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available at the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
